Lilac's Groveby ~JadeRunya

The war had come to England. The fairies and other magical creatures retreated deep within their mountain kingdoms. Except for Lilac, she felt sorry for the humans trying to protect the land and freedom. She decided that she would help them as much as she could by coming out late at night and sneaking into the local abbey turned into a makeshift hospital. Staying close to the shadows so she could hide her wings she went from bed to bed helping the wounded and comfort the dying. She had become known only as Angel with her soft touch and peaceful smile. After a bomb had hit part of the abbey and the hospital moved Lilac stayed to help those who wandered in for shelter or help. It had become known as Angel's sanctuary and even today as the lilac flowers now grow wild in the abbey, she tends those in need and cares for the graves of those who had made the greatest sacrifice for others. If you are quiet and have a true heart you might catch a glimpse of her picking lilacs for the soldiers.

I'm not sure I have the sanity to color all of the lilacs, it drove me crazy just drawing them LOL..... I'm sure I'll eventually get around to it some day.
